The RO 10,000 LPH Packaged Drinking Water Plant from AMM Aqua Pure Systems is a complete, highcapacity solution for producing BISstandard packaged drinking water. Designed and manufactured in Chennai, this plant is ideal for mineral water brands, copackers and industrial users who need 10,000 litres per hour of consistent, safe and greattasting water.
From raw water intake to final treated water storage, every stage – Feed Pump, Sand Filter, Carbon Filter, 5 Micron Filter, Reverse Osmosis, Blending Tank, UV with Post Micron Filter, Mineral Dosing, Ozonation and Final Storage – is engineered, supplied and integrated by AMM Aqua Pure Systems as a turnkey package.
The process starts with a Feed Pump that draws raw water from the source (borewell, storage tank, etc.) and delivers a steady, pressurised flow to the filtration system.
Benefit: Ensures a stable and continuous water feed, which is critical for consistent RO performance and output quality.
Water from the feed pump enters the Sand Filter, which removes:
Benefit: Protects downstream units from clogging, improves water clarity and extends the life of cartridges and RO membranes.
Next, water passes through the Carbon Filter, which uses high quality activated carbon to:
Benefit: Safeguards RO membranes from chlorine damage and significantly improves the sensory quality of the final product.
Treated water is then polished through a 5 Micron Filter, typically a cartridge or multi cartridge housing, to remove fine suspended solids and micro particles.
Benefit: Provides an extra layer of protection for RO membranes, reducing fouling and cleaning frequency, thereby extending membrane life.
The heart of the system is the Reverse Osmosis (RO) Process, where a high pressure pump forces pre treated water through semi permeable membranes.
Benefit: Delivers low‑TDS, microbiologically safe water suitable for packaged drinking water and further mineralisation.
Post RO, ultra low TDS water is stored in a Blending Storage Tank. At this stage, part of the RO permeate may be blended with treated/raw streams, depending on:
Level sensors, sanitisation provisions and proper venting ensure hygienic storage.
Benefit: Allows fine control over TDS and taste, so your packaged water is not just pure but also pleasant to drink.
Water from the blending tank is passed through a UV system combined with a Post Micron Filter:
Benefit: Provides a strong final barrier against microbiological contamination, improving product safety and shelf life.
To meet packaged drinking water norms and consumer taste expectations, a Minerals Adding System precisely doses food grade minerals into the treated water.
Benefit: Converts RO‑treated water into branded, mineral‑balanced packaged drinking water that customers prefer over plain RO water.
Before final storage, the mineralised water undergoes Ozonation, a powerful non residual disinfection step.
Benefit: Enhances product safety, increases shelf life and maintains hygiene in downstream bottling lines.
The treated, mineralised and ozonated water is stored in a Final Storage Tank, from where it is fed to:
The tank is designed for hygienic storage with sanitary fittings, manholes and level controls, and is easily integrated with your existing or new filling lines.
Benefit: Acts as a clean, buffer storage to ensure continuous, uninterrupted operation of your bottling or jar filling line.
